Standard Delrin is a highly durable plastic-like compound that can endure significant mileage and time, provided it receives proper maintenance. However, if the bushings are not adequately greased or develope dry spots, they can produce a loud, unpleasant squeak.

PTFE-blended Delrin offers the advantage of being self-lubricating, resulting in reduced friction and noise. Though slightly more brittle than standard Delrin, it can still withstand substantial use over long periods with the right upkeep.
